With the arrival of the last day of school on June 19, the extreme makeover of Eastern Christian Elementary School will continue!
During the last two summers, major renovations have taken place in the early childhood wing and in the completely new restrooms for students and staff members. This summer, eleven classrooms will be extensively renovated, receiving new windows, ceilings, floors, and lighting, along with a fresh coat of paint. Behind the scenes, ECES will also receive a new heating system, electrical upgrades, a new bell / intercom / clock system, and all new exterior doors. When students return to school on September 2, they will be greeted by a practically new school building!
Funding for this summer’s work, as well as the work completed on all three Eastern Christian campuses during the last two summers, has been provided by generous supporters in our school community, allowing us to complete all of the projects without incurring any debt. Since we have not had to obtain a mortgage, the tuition cost for our students’ families will not be affected by the completion of these improvements.
We humbly acknowledge the Lord’s generous provision in the form of the wonderful support that we have received and look forward to welcoming our students to their “new” school on September 2!
