First Graders Learn About Dental Health

Dr. Eric Veenstra (Class of ’99) from Veenstra Family Dentistry of Midland Park recently visited our first graders to teach them about dental health. 

With the help of his hygienist, Dr. Veenstra taught the students about proper brushing and flossing techniques. They all had the opportunity to practice on a puppet or model teeth. They also had fun identifying and sorting healthy and unhealthy foods. Each child went home with a goodie bag of dental gifts (toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, notebook, coloring book) Thanks so much, Dr. Veenstra!
