The students who attend Eastern Christian are given many opportunities to share their God-given gifts and talents throughout their years in the school system. Elementary school students are given a full chapel in January to lead the rest of the student body in praising the Lord and share their musical talents.
Music teacher, Rob Flim, offered the opportunity for 3rd and 4th grade students to participate in the Praise Chapel several weeks ago so they could decide what they wanted to play or sing, and if they wanted to perform in an ensemble or alone. There were many students who expressed interest in performing and were excited to praise God with their peers. Nearly a dozen students or groups of students lead worship In Tuesday’s chapel.
Students shared their musical gifts in playing piano, violin, and singing. Mr. Flim accompanied most of the singing groups with guitar or ukulele. The students impressed everyone in chapel with their incredible talents. Praising God and being lead by students, is a special experience! I am so grateful to be a part of a school that values praising God with all voices and allows students to lead the rest of the school in worshiping our Creator.
